Healthcare options can be as confusing as they are essential. Many members of theNational Association of REALTORS® (NAR) want coverage, but can’t find affordable options or don’t have the resources to thoroughly research what type of policy is best for them and how to track down the best provider.

Now these members can easily find coverage options, with a new benefit available through the REALTOR Benefits® Program called the REALTORS® Insurance Marketplace.

NAR and its long-time insurance partner, SASid (Smart And Simple insurance development—the trusted administrator of NAR’s REALTORS® Core Health Insurance and REALTORS® Dental Insurance), have joined together to provide this exciting and timely benefit. The REALTORS® Insurance Marketplace is a private, online one-stop shop for all of your health and wellness insurance needs. Using the latest technology, NAR members can research coverage options, compare plans, obtain quotes, and purchase coverage directly online.

Choose from a Variety of Coverage Options
REALTORS® Insurance Marketplace was created to address NAR members’ current needs for health care coverage. Members can use it to research and compare a wide variety of health insurance and wellness products, including major medical, short-term medical, limited medical indemnity, dental coverage, and pharmacy savings. The Marketplace includes the existing NAR offerings of REALTORS® Core Health Insurance, REALTORS® Dental Insurance and Drug Card America (a free discount pharmacy drug card offering savings on select generic and name brand prescription drugs at pharmacies nationwide), and was designed to allow for the addition of new options in the future. Today, it also features two new insurance offerings for NAR members:

  • A Major Medical Health Insurance Exchange featuring HMOs, PPOs, High Deductible (Catastrophic) Plans and plans that qualify for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) through nationally recognized, top-rated insurance carriers.
  • Short-Term Medical Insurance is designed to be an affordable temporary major medical policy which can last from 30 days to 6 months to provide coverage in the event of a gap between longer term policies

Note that for all plans, member eligibility varies by product. Terms, conditions and limitations apply, and availability may be based on state laws. The online marketplace includes details on availability of plans in your state.

SASid representatives are available to personally consult with members on their individual insurance needs.
